The TE-5K-MD-AM has pumped Acetic Acid, Citric Acid, Ethylene Glycol, Formaldehyde, Hydrochloric Acid (Muriatic), Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulfuric Acid, Fresh Water, Salt Water, DI Water, and many more chemicals. The TE-5K-MD-AM may have been modified to handle these chemicals. This pump may have to be modified to pump specific gravities, viscosities, or elevated temperatures different then ambient water. The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of glass filled Kynar (PVDF), Viton, and Ceramic. The inlet connection is 1 inch female pipe thread, and the outlet is 1/2 inch male pipe thread. The standard motor is a .125 Horsepower compressed air motor which requires 60PSI. The maximum internal pressure the pump can tolerate is 75PSI, and the maximum liquid temperature is 200 Fahrenheit or 93 Celsius. The March TE-5K-MD-AM centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling mildly or highly corrosive chemicals, acids, and solvents.
